Michelle and Michele (known around here as M&M!) have been working together in the Education Center since April, 2005. They both began their career at Beacock Music in the print music department, although at separate times. As the Education Center grew, it was soon necessary to have a fusion of their talents and so it began! Michelle, being creative and a ‘big thinker’ and Michele, a detailed computer and graphics wiz, have developed the Education Center into one of the most respected in the nation! Winning numerous industry awards, our Education Center boasts over 40 private instructors, numerous group classes, a home school program, Kindermusik and New Horizons band!
Michelle and Michele have a common passion: To watch their customers, young and old, enjoy music to better their lives!
Types of Music Education Offered:
Group Lessons
Beacock Music has group lessons starting for guitar and other instruments all the time. For a complete schedule, call Michelle at 360-694-7134 or view our calendar/events page.
Each group meets once a week with several times/days being available so you can pick the one that fits into your schedule.
Individual Lessons
For those who prefer one-on-one instruction, all our teachers are available for private lessons. Please contact the Education Center at 360-694-7134 to check on the availability of teachers and schedule a time for your lesson. Kindermusik
This is a wonderful program to introduce babies and children to the world of music. The Kindermusik programs include age-appropriate activities involving the fundamentals of music.
Programs start with newborns and continue through to Kindergartners.
New Horizons
The New Horizons Program was started just for those people who may have missed learning how to play an instrument back in their school years, and now they regret it. It is also for those people who played back in school, but have then spent many years building careers and raising families.
Vocal
Beacock Music is more than just instruments; we have an experienced staff for teaching vocal too.

Tuition
Monthly tuition is $95.00 per month for half-hour lessons and $190.00 per month for one-hour lessons, with students taking lessons once a week. A one-time registration fee of $25 is needed when starting lessons.
*Please note the monthly rate is the same, regardless of the number of weeks in the month.

Our kids have taken numerous classes at Beacocks over the past few years ranging from group and individual piano, kindermusik, to themed summer choir classes. The kids have always had a lot of fun and really enjoy the recitals that follow a lot of the classes (even if we've had to spend hours playing the same track on the cd while driving to class to get the words right!)
