Brian Myers began his musical journey in Corvallis, Oregon, over twenty years ago studying saxophone.  Adding clarinet during high school and flute after college he now performs and teaches regularly on all three instruments in a variety of styles ranging from jazz to popular, commercial and chamber music.  He has studied with many notable players including local luminaries David Valdez, Glenn Moore and Dan Gaynor as well as numerous clinics and one off lessons with players from around the world.  At 18 Brian began teaching saxophone in Corvallis at the request of his teacher Stuart Curtis, a long time Broadway performer and multi instrumentalist.  Discovering a natural ability to connect with students he has enjoyed guiding aspiring musicians along their path with a flexible teaching style that caters to individuals and brings out their best for almost 15 years.  His lessons incorporate technique, theory, notation, history and repertoire to provide a strong foundation that can lead to a life on stage or simply a deep personal relationship with music.
