Our staff comes from a wonderful mix of backgrounds and talents. All of our teachers have degrees and/or many years of performance and teaching experience. Many instructors have taught in public and private schools as well as on the college level. Our goal is excellence in teaching. There are many reasons to take lessons and only excuses not to. Whether you're dusting off the instrument you played in school, found that the workforce doesn't give you the creative outlet you need or your child is picking up an instrument for the first time, Beacock Music is the place to go to learn, grow and most importantly, play!!

Rent 'N Learn
Learn a new instrument on a month-to-month to basis! We offer instrument rentals for all instruments we teach (even guitar!). Renting an instrument from Beacock Music is easy! We offer a rental program with the option to return or exchange your instrument at anytime at no extra charge. Rent online and have your instrument delivered to the school, or pick it up in the store!

How much do lessons cost?
Monthly tuition is $149.00 per month for weekly half-hour lessons and $298.00 per month for weekly one-hour lessons. There is also a one-time registration fee of $25. The monthly rate is the same, regardless of the number of weeks in the month.
How often are lessons?
Lessons are once a week for a half hour, or an hour.
Can I take lessons more often than once a month?
Absolutely! If you want to take lessons more than once a week, that is an option!
I don't have a set schedule, can I take lessons when I am available?

Where are lessons held?

Can I take lessons virtually?
Absolutely! For the students who either don't live in the Vancouver area or who prefer to do lessons online, we have options for that. Just click here for our online self-booking page: https://beacockmusic.opus1.io/w/online
What ages or abilities do you teach?
Our instructors take all abilities, from complete beginners to advanced students. The age varies by instructor or instrument, so if you have a young student (under 6) interested in lessons, please contact us and we can help!
